On October 8th, Pivotal Ventures, a Melinda French Gates organization, announced the launch of Action for Women’s Health, a $250 million global open call aimed at supporting organizations that are improving the mental and physical health of women. This initiative is managed in partnership with Lever for Change and seeks to address the significant health inequities women face worldwide.
Women’s ability to fully participate in society is closely tied to their overall health. However, many continue to experience disparities that affect their daily lives, economic opportunities, community engagement, and long-term goals. Action for Women’s Health seeks to uplift and empower organizations of varying sizes, geographies, and approaches that are committed to closing these gaps and enhancing women’s health on a global scale.
Eligible organizations serving women and improving their mental or physical health are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a proven track record and a strong focus on equity in their work, with the ability to scale their efforts for broader impact.
